  • Dr. Bogdan Klinkosz, DVM, Owner

    Dr.Bogdan Klinkosz came from Poland in 1993 as a Research fellow for the Dept. of Neurology, Cleveland Clinic, to do research regarding amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He conducted many experiments that culminated into a large scale clinical trial in North America and helped advance the treatment for that illness.

    After 5 years, his desire to help animals and the joy he received from the interactions with clients and their pets proved to be a major factor in changing career paths. He is a fully certified DVM in USA, Canada, and in the European Union. He studied in Poland, Germany, and Sweden, and has prior education in Pharmacy.  Dr.Bogdan has a special interest in ophthalmology and alternative medicine. He is a member of:

    • Polish Small Animal Veterinary Association (PSAVA),
    • Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA),

  • Dr. Yasmin Nehal

    Dr. Yasmin Nehal was born and raised in northeast Ohio.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Akron in 1983.  She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University in 1987.  Dr. Nehal is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA).

    In her free time, Dr. Nehal enjoys gardening, cooking, and jewelry making.  She has two dogs, both rescues, Onyx and Shelby.

  • Dr. Michael Slawienski, DACVS

    Mobile Veterinarian
    Dr. Slawienski is a native of Buffalo, New York. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cornell University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1992. He completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and completed his residency as a veterinary surgeon at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999.

    Dr. Mike practiced at Associated Veterinary Specialists in St. Louis before moving to Ohio with his family in 2004. He has provided soft tissue, neurologic, and orthopedic specialty surgeries for patients of veterinary hospitals in Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas since that time. Dr. Mike is an avid homebrewer and as a BJCP certified judge has judged beer competitions nationally and abroad. Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his three young wonderful children and his wife. Dr. Slawienski has a sweet one-eyed Pug named Boty and a very mischievous cat named Shadow.

  • Eliza

    Office Manager
    Eliza has worked with wildlife and companion animals since 2014. She completed her master's degree in biology this past December, and will attend OSU's College of Veterinary Medicine beginning this August. She is passionate about wildlife conservation, science, and pizza. When not working or studying, she loves to spend time with her boyfriend and family, including three pit mixes, Esther, Murphy and Meatball, two cats, Snarf and Phoebe, and a silver dollar fish named Fifty Cent.
  • Amanda

    Veterinary Technician
    Amanda is a recent graduate from Stauntzenburger College with a veterinary technician degree. She is also a proud mom of 5 cats. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and watching Netflix with her kitties. 
  • Emmily

    Emmily attended Cleveland State University for two years with a focus in biology. She plans on finishing her degree in biology in the near future, and pursuing a career in the veterinary field. She is a proud mom to a German Shepherd named Romel and a cat named Olive. During her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and hiking.
  • Rachel

    Rachel recently moved back to the greater Cleveland area with her husband, Willy, and two sons, Avery and Miles from a small island off the coast of North Carolina where she worked at a Skydive Operation. She has an Associates degree in Human Services Management and finds gratification in helping others. She has a rescued dog named Dudley Earl, a cat named Frances Chelsea Dixon, and a red bellied parrot named Emanuel Pigford the Bird. In her free time she and her family enjoy hiking national parks, camping, playing in rivers, and swimming in quarries. She is passionate about music, crystals, and the people in her life who inspire her to be the best she can be.

    Kaylee was born and raised in Utah. She moved to Cleveland in 2018 with her husband, John, after he was accepted into Case Western's dental program. Kaylee has a bachelor's degree in social work with a minor in criminal justice. She has always been passionate about helping others, whether it be animals or humans. Some of her hobbies include skiing, eating Chick-fil-A, playing board games, and reading. She also loves snuggling with her goldendoodles Cosmo, Finn, and Newt.
  • Danelle

    Danelle was born and raised in Cleveland. She has always been involved with rescue, fostering many four-legged companions until they found their forever homes. She has two pocket pitties namd Bailey and Mugsy, a Red Footed Tortoise named Raphael, and a Mali Uromastyx named Thor. During her free time, she enjoys taking her dogs for hikes and kayaking. Her favorite food is pizza, but she also likes to cook and try new dishes.
